Warning: Depending on the tire you are going to mount (especially wide models like 90/100-16 or aggressive knobby tires), it is very likely that the tire will rub against the chain.
To avoid this, it is necessary to perform a "Dishing" (rim offset). This operation consists of adjusting the spoke tension to slightly offset the rim circle to the side opposite the chain, to leave the necessary space.

The 16-inch rear format is a very interesting option on these bikes. It makes the bike more maneuverable, provides sharper acceleration (thanks to the reduced diameter), and allows access to a different range of tires. Since it's an original E-Ride part, there's no DIY adaptation: the spacers are there, it fits perfectly, it's solid. An excellent base for a custom project or a standard replacement.
