It's the classic beginner's mistake: you break a belt because of a stone, you buy a new one, you install it, and 100km later... it breaks again. Why? Because the famous stone often caused a snag on one of the teeth of this aluminum pulley. A damaged tooth is like a razor blade that will saw through your new belt with each rotation. Always check this pulley! The fact that it comes with its 5 new screws is a real relief when you're doing the mechanics yourself. A little dab of blue threadlocker on the new screws, tighten them in a cross pattern, and you're good to go with peace of mind.
