Has your primary belt broken? Before replacing it, thoroughly inspect your motor pulley. If stones or debris have damaged the teeth of this pulley, restore your transmission to new with this E-Ride Pro original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part.
Attached directly to the electric motor shaft, this small Toothed pulley absorbs all the torque at the source. Significant wear or a chipped tooth will act like a razor blade on your new belt, reducing its lifespan to nothing.

This is the golden rule of primary transmission: never put a new belt on a damaged pulley! If a stone gets stuck, it's often this small motor pulley that takes the brunt. If the edges of the teeth are sharp or marked, you have to change it, otherwise your new belt will only last 50 miles. The fact that E-Ride provides the big black nut with it is great news, because it's often a struggle to get it off the first time. With this kit, you're starting with a perfectly healthy motor base.
