WARP 9 RACING

WARP 9 / Talaria Sting Gearbox Vent

WARP 9 / Talaria Sting Gearbox Vent

Effectively protect your Sting's gearbox from the elements and optimize its longevity with our high-performance breather kit! Specifically designed to prevent water, dirt, and mud intrusion, this kit also ensures adequate ventilation for your crankcase, essential for maintaining performance and preventing premature wear.

Main Features:

  • Superior Protection: Protect your Sting's gearbox from water, dust, and mud, while allowing it to "breathe" properly.

  • Anti-Contaminant Defense: The precisely molded snorkel-type upper tube provides the first line of defense to keep your oil clean and free from contaminants.

  • Smart Check Valve: A black anodized CNC aluminum check valve (ask us for other colors in the form) retains oil in the gearbox crankcase even if the bike falls. However, it still allows air to circulate when internal pressure increases due to thermal expansion and contraction.

  • Quick Installation & Style: Available in 6 attractive colors to match your style, this kit installs in just 5 minutes!

Why choose our kit?

Don't let external elements compromise your Sting's mechanics. This kit offers a simple and effective solution to:

  • Extend the life of your oil and gearbox components.

  • Maintain optimal performance in all conditions.

  • Avoid costly repairs due to contamination or poor ventilation.

Compatibility:

  • Designed for Sting TL3000/TL4000 models

  • 1. Siting and Preparation (MX4 Models)

Locate the gearbox breather hose, which runs up the frame from the crankcase.

    • For MX4 models: If the original clamp ring is still present, remove it. To do this, disconnect the hose from both clamps, release the original clamp ring and one-way valve, then slide the ring off the hose.
  • 2. Assembly of the Warp 9 System

Loosen the top Allen bolt that secures the breather hose clamp slightly, just enough to be able to remove the hose. Before cutting the breather hose off the gearbox, install the Warp 9 breather system onto the top clamp.

  • 3. Adjustment and Connection

Cut the gearbox vent hose to the required length (approx. 52 mm / 2 inches from the top of the lower collar). Then push the vent hose as far as possible onto the new Warp 9 kit valve.
