Brake discs are consumables. As soon as they wear out or get overheated (turning blue/purple), you lose a lot of efficiency. This original 220mm disc does the job perfectly. It's the same one fitted to new bikes: no surprises, no need to look for adapters, just unscrew, put in the new screws provided (very important!), and you're good to go for late braking!
