Tuto : Comment installer les Bumpers de Cadre sur E-Ride Pro SR / SS ?

Tutorial: How to install Frame Bumpers on E-Ride Pro SR / SS?

The E-Ride Pro is a machine designed for enduro, and enduro means shocks, rocks, and obstacles. The frame, and particularly the engine mounting brackets, are exposed areas. That's why at JW Shop, we have developed specific TPU frame bumpers.

If you bought your bike from us, good news: they are free and included in the box! Here's how to install them in minutes so you can ride with peace of mind.

Required Equipment

Installation is very simple and requires no advanced mechanical skills. You just need:

  • A 4mm Allen key.
  • Wire cutters (to cut the zip ties at the end).
  • Your two bumpers (left and right).

Assembly Steps

1. Prepare Access (Optional but Recommended)

Although not strictly necessary, we recommend removing the engine protection plate (skid plate) or at least unscrewing the two bottom screws. This will give you more space to slide your fingers and position the bumper correctly.

2. Position the Bumper

Take the bumper corresponding to the side (the shape follows the curvature of the frame). Insert the zip tie into the designated hole on the TPU piece.

3. Fastening

Pass the zip tie over the frame bar. The bumper's hook should hug the frame tube to secure itself. Once in place, tighten the zip tie firmly so that the protection no longer moves.

4. Finishing

Cut the excess zip tie with your pliers. Caution: Be careful not to cut the kickstand sensor cable, which runs right next to it!

Reassemble your engine skid plate, and you're done. Your frame is now protected from direct impacts.
