Tuto : Changer le support de plaque de sa E-Ride Pro & Arctic Leopard (Avant la casse !)

Tutorial: Change the License Plate Holder on Your E-Ride Pro & Arctic Leopard (Before it Breaks!)

If you've started riding your E-Ride Pro (SR, SS, 3.0 or 2.5) & Arctic Leopard off-road, you've probably noticed: the original license plate holder and mudflap are not designed for aggressive enduro or motocross.

On large bumps or jump landings, the plate violently hits the rear tire. The result? You risk breaking your plate, tearing off your turn signals, or even bending the rear frame loop of your chassis. To avoid breakage while keeping your original lights (very practical for road sections), we have developed the ideal solution: the JW Shop Off-Road License Plate Holder.

The Concept: An aggressive look and total reliability

Our holder sits deep in the wheel well, just under the shock absorber. This strategic positioning offers a dual advantage:

  1. Zero risk of collision: Even at maximum compression, the wheel will never touch your plate.
  2. Light recovery: The holder is designed to perfectly accommodate the original tail light and mini-turn signals of your E-Ride Pro.

How to install it? (Quick tutorial)

Installation requires a bit of care, but remains accessible to everyone with basic tools (Allen key, 10mm socket, small drill/driver). Here are the main steps (detailed in our video):

1. Disassembly and light removal

Remove the old license plate holder. Carefully disconnect and remove the tail light and the two turn signals, keeping all original screws, nuts, and washers.

2. Assembly on the new holder

Attach the light and turn signals to your new JW Shop aluminum holder. Good news: everything fits perfectly!

3. Drilling the wheel well

This is the technical step. Position the holder under the shock absorber, mark the ideal location, then drill three small holes in the plastic of the original fender to secure the holder with the long screws provided in our kit.

4. Wiring and Finishing Touches

Route the cables neatly (be careful not to pinch them), reconnect them (test the turn signals to check left/right sides), install the supplied shock absorber protection flap, and finally attach your license plate!

Ready for Enduro!

In a few tens of minutes, you have transformed the rear of your E-Ride Pro. More streamlined, more aggressive, and above all, ready to tackle the worst trails without a second thought.

⚠️ Legal note: The inclination and positioning of this holder are designed for sporting use on private land to protect your equipment; they do not meet strict road homologation standards.
