The JW Protection Kit: Three Elements for Total Isolation
Unlike basic protections, our kit addresses all projection angles:
- The Upper Protector: It blocks debris falling from under the seat or near the shock absorber.
- The Lower Protector: It acts as a shield against direct projections from the rear wheel.
- The Specific Mudflap: This is the final touch that fits the bottom of the motor to close the last entry point for dirt.
Step 1: Installing the Upper Protector
Start with the upper part. Unlike the Light Bee model, this version for E-Ride Pro does not require complex mounting holes. Position the piece on the frame, use the supplied wood screws, and secure it with a screwdriver. Caution: do not overtighten to allow the protector to slide slightly and adjust perfectly.
Step 2: Installing the Lower Protector
For this step, our pro tip is to gently lay the motorcycle down on its side to get perfect visual access under the swingarm. Remove the small screw that holds the original guide (often insufficient). Slide the new JW protector inside the existing guide and reinsert the screw. Your pulley is now almost invisible and protected from impacts coming from the ground.
Step 3: Installing the Sealing Mudflap
The last element is a flexible mudflap with a unique design. It is attached using zip ties (rislans) to the frame's triangle reinforcement and the motor skid plate chassis. Technical tip: shift the mudflap as far as possible to the left (belt side) and ensure that the heads of the zip ties are facing upwards so as not to obstruct the reassembly of the motor skid plate.
