While the E-Ride Pro is a powerful machine, its size can be a bit small for tall riders. This is feedback we've often received, especially from Jonathan: you quickly find your legs too bent, in a so-called "frog" position.
At JW SHOP, we've developed a simple and effective solution: a 2.5 cm seat riser kit. We'll explain how to install it and radically transform your riding comfort.
Why raise the seat of your E-Ride Pro?
The 2.5 cm gain may seem minimal, but it changes everything on the field. By raising the seat, your knees are perfectly aligned with the saddle, which allows you to grip the bike better with your legs. You gain control, stability, and most importantly, you tire much less during long enduro rides.
Required Material
For this assembly, you will need:
- An Allen key.
- A 10 mm socket.
- The JW Shop seat riser kit (spacers and shims included).
Assembly Steps: A breeze
1. Preparation and seat removal
First, remove the upper cover, then unscrew the 4 10 mm nuts located under the mudguard to free the seat. Once the seat is removed, install the four supplied spacers directly onto the original threaded rods.
2. Installation of the riser shims
Place the JW Shop shims over the spacers. They are designed to fit perfectly on the frame. You can then reposition the seat. Small tip: take this opportunity to adjust the routing of your cables (especially for the approved license plate holder) so that they are not pinched during final tightening.
3. Aesthetic finishes
Installing a riser mechanically creates a small gap between the seat and the frame. For an impeccable "Factory" look, we strongly advise you to install our motocross style side panels. They will hide this gap and give much more volume to the rear of your machine.
Go further: The footpeg lowering kit
If the seat riser is not enough for your long legs, the ultimate step is to install Warp 9 footpeg lowering kit. By lowering the footpegs, you extend your legs further, offering an almost perfect position for riders over 1m85.
